Robin and I have had a nice Sunday. I talked to my bishop briefly this afternoon. We talked about the atonement and how it is one of those concepts where the more you learn the less you know. Indeed it is. But still powerful. The bishop recommended a speech that Elder David Bednar gave to the BYU students a few years ago:

It really is worth a listen. He talks about how the atonement isn’t only a mechanism for forgiveness from sin, but also it can be used daily for empowerment.
Enjoy!
This was a great talk. I love the notion that grace is a empowers us beyond our own abilities to deal with our situations and change them ourselves, rather than asking God to change the circumstances.
