Since my wife and I are not big fans of the vice president, we decided to take a trip to SLC with our family. We had a great day. We took a tour of welfare square, stopped in at the “This is the place” monument, had a big dinner, then topped it off with a rehearsal at the newly refurbished tabernacle building. The Mormon Tabernacle choir, with Jessop at the helm, performed for the first time in public, seven movements of a wonderful new “Requiem” composition. It was fantastic!
Tomorrow, graduation!!
