Tonight R and I took a little stroll over to nearby Adams Morgan to a spot called Madam’s Organ (no joke) – a little blues and bluegrass joint. It’s always nice to get out and see friends, especially when there’s bluegrass involved. The band was none other than Bob Perilla’s Big Hillbilly Bluegrass
No, I hadn’t heard of them either, but they were great – as you would expect from a band with the word “hillbilly” in their name.
Of course, a night out in the neighborhood isn’t complete without a few friends, like Meredith and Dave.
When I interned in DC during college, I remember visiting some fun late-night joints in Adam’s Morgan. It’s a happenin’ part of town at night!
