Nothing like the 4th of July to bring us together to celebrate. We gathered on the steps of the Capitol building this weekend to see the traditional concert including Barry Manilow and Aretha Franklin. One of my favorite things about the 4th is that it is the only day a year you can get away with wearing hideous, yet patriotic, flag-draped clothing (see bottom left of photo).
