On October 23, 2006, Robin and I found ourselves wedged between thousands of police with tear gas and thousands of Hungarian protesters upset with their government. The news of the weekend about the elections in Iran and the protests following the results reminded me of our days with tear gas in Budapest. Not a thing I care to experience ever again.
