			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Today&#8217;s photo is the first directly posted from the iPhone. I&#8217;m currently standing in a surprisingly long line in the rain at George Washington&#8217;s home, Mt. Vernon. It&#8217;s a beautiful place, mostly original, first built by George&#8217;s older half brother in the 1750s, then expanded by George and Martha.</p>
<p>The president spent many years at this home, including some time when he was president. He died here in 1799.</p>
